Writing Ministries

This ministry allows our members to write notes with caring hearts and willing hands to special people-those who are homebound, those who have babies, those who are in the hospital, those who have experienced a death and the list goes on.    If you would like someone to get a note, or you would like to write notes yourself, please email Susan at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This volunteer team continues to grow has we find more ways to reach out to our family of faith.  We need volunteers to write cards, address envelopes, and organize donated cards, and create handmade cards.

Thank you Care Team members who write notes, letters, and send cards to members, visitors and guests of our family of faith.  did you know we send birthday cards to the Sunday School youth?  First time visitors receive a packet of information?  did you know some prayer requests get note cards, and did you hear we have a team of writers that keep this going?  Keep up the good work.  If you are interested in joining this team, contact Susan at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Celebration Cards

We send cards to those celebrating good news like born days and birthdays.

Bereavement Cards

We track the year following any church member that has had a death in their family.  Cards are sent on important days during the first year of bereavement (mother’s day, anniversary or birthdays for example).

Thinking of you Cards

If someone has missed church for a number of weeks, a card is sent letting our family member of faith know that we’re thinking of them.    This helps us discover is that family member needs assistance or if they are caring for another in need.    We’ll support all situations and direct to the prayer group.

Anniversary Cards

We celebrate those who have married in our church.
