The Rockford United Methodist Church Praise Band serves as the musical accompaniment for the 11:00 contemporary service every week. They keep a demanding schedule of weekly performance, with the frequent introduction of new songs to the Contemporary Service worshipers.

New members of Junior-High age and older are invited to audition for the praise band each May. For more information about the audition process, contact Eric Lofgren.

In addition to the praise songs for congregational use, Praise Band members enrich our worship with special music and solos every week. Soloists are not required to be in the Praise Band; all church members are welcome to share their talents.
