Rockford United Methodist is currently on a summer schedule. We meet twice to worship each Sunday Morning.

  • 8:30 Service: Traditional worship
  • 10:00 Service: Contemporary worship

Wednesday night meetings and Sunday School classes are suspended for the summer.

Our nursery is available at the 10:00 service only.

J.A.M.S. continues for the summer during the 10:00 service.

Normally, Rockford United Methodist Congregation meets to worship at three times each Sunday Morning.

  • 8:15 Service: Traditional worship, accompanied on our organ.
  • 9:30 Service: Traditional worship, with special music. The Chancel Choir and Handbells are a regular part of this service.
  • 11:00 Service: Contemporary worship with our praise band playing choruses.

All three services include the same scripture reading and sermon. Communion is served at all services on the first Sunday of each month. Our next two communion services are June 20 and July 11 2010. During the summer and sometimes on holiday weekends, we reduce to two services (this will be announced in the news ticker, bulletin and newsletter, and on our facebook page).

We are served in and during worship by volunteer greeters, ushers, prayer warriors, and prayer leaders.

Sunday School for all ages is offered at 9:30 during the school year.

In addition to Sunday morning, we gather as a community each Wednesday night for dinner (free offering) at 5:30 and Bible Study at 6:30. Wednesday nights are off for the summer; we'll resume in the fall!
