Wednesday Night Programs

J-Club for Junior High students in the TWC - fun, fellowship and Christain studies packed into an hour after dinner.
Tough Topics for Senior High students - Christian views on real life questiosn and day-to-day live
Senior high Study LGD will meet from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in Room 200, short-term studies to help deepen Christian understanding and faith

Sunday evening Senior High meetings will be every week this year. Starting at 6:00 PM we will have a rotation of different themes each Sunday, movies, evangelism, worship and a community dinner.
 
Upcoming events:
 
Ash Wednesday- February 22nd is Ash Wednesday and most classes will not meet. J-Club and LGD will meet briefly in their respective rooms and then go to the service as groups at our neighbors the Congregational Church. If you parents are going you may want to sit together as a family.

 
6th Grade- Let's go to 3 Mile Project on Thursday Feb. 23rd . We'll leave the church around 5:30 and be back by 9:30. The entrance fee will be covered but you need to bring $5.00 or so if you want a snack or drink.  
 
Jr. High- Hey man, tubular! The slopes await us at Pando with tubes. We'll go to Pando to tube on Feb. 26th. Let's have lunch after church and Pando from 1 to 4pm. Cost $15.00.
 
Sr. High- Super Bowl Sunday is Feb. 5th. Deb Seagle has kindly invited us over to enjoy the game from 6 to 10pm. Parking may be limited on her road so I'd like to take some of you over in the van. Girls bring a snack, guys bring some pop or other drink.  
   
Sr. High Girls- Get your Diva on at the Diva by Design Overnight on Friday at 6:30 pm-Saturday at 10:00 am on March 9-10.  Watch for more details.

Sr. High 10th-12th Grade Students- "Faith in Transition:  Being a Christian in College" overnight retreat at Albion College Feb 4-5.  This retreat is designed to encourage you to keep growing in your Christian faith when you get to college.  There is no charge for the retreat and meals and lodging are included.  Please RSVP to Mike Walden before January 21 if you would like to attend and to receive more information about the event.     
 
Senior High La Nueva Dinner  
Our "La Nueva" Community Dinner will be the Sunday on February 19th.
 
 
REVERB - Junior High
Meets 7:00 AM Tuesday mornings at North Rockford Middle School in the gymnasium, and at 7:00 AM Thursday mornings at the East Rockford Middle School in the Blue Room.

 


Senior HIgh La Nueva Dinner  

Our "La Nueva" Community Dinner will be the Sunday on Dec. 18th.

Together Stuff: Wed. Dec. 21st at 4 PM meet at the church to help deliver Christmas Cheer to Shut-ins.


REVERB - Junior High
Meets 7:00 AM Tuesday mornings at North Rockford Middle School in the gymnasium, and at 7:00 AM Thursday mornings at the East Rockford Middle School in the Blue Room.

  • Just about as much Fun, Fellowship and Christian studies that can be packed into a single hour!
     
     Senior High Sunday Nights - meets Sunday nights 6:00-8:00 PM in the Teen Worship Center
    • Students will enjoy a rotation of activities that include worship, study, service and even watching uplifting movies.



    Tough Topics (Senior High) - meets Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Wesley Room
    • Christian views on real life questions and day-to-day life. 

     

    Senior High LGD - meets Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in Room 200

    • Helping your senior high student deepen their faith with engaging, video driven Bible studies.

     

     
    Senior High Girls - Meets Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Teen Worship Center
    • This group of high school girls meets each week for a Bible Study  and various service projects in the church and community.  Contact Pam Lindemer or Karrie Thomason for more information.

    GRASP

    • Grand Rapids Area Service Project is a Jr. High Youth group mission trip every summer.   They attend for 5 days of work with chaperons.   Look for more information after Christmas!
